The primary one is to take care of a Sim (or multiple Sims) by making sure they eat, use the bathroom, sleep, destress, and in general keep their mood up. There are a lot of complex mechanics at work in the Sims. Although some can say that this is a drawback, I think of it as leaving it to the user to create their own story through the characters However as the Sims became more advanced, the story part is omitted. In the original Sims game, it was the objective of the main character to move out of your mom’s house, find a job, and get married.
